The Milagro Center

The Milagro Center

The Milagro Center, a non-profit organization, provides a superior arts education after school program to the children of Palm Beach County’s most disadvantaged populations.  Milagro, which means “miracle” in Spanish, is a unique arts-integrated educational and cultural arts facility which serves as a catalyst for community collaboration, individual transformation and social change by providing enriched learning opportunities.  The Center strives to enhance social awareness and the pursuit of life goals within an honest and non-sectarian environment.  In order to better serve the community and meet the objectives of the organization, a new facility was required. The construction of the new center was managed by BSA and the project entailed the complete renovation of an existing structure. A new façade was constructed, the building was gutted, a new elevator was added and the building was modernized to comply with all current life-safety and ADA accessibility requirements. In addition, 6,500 sf of interior space was built out to include an assembly hall, a new kitchen, meeting rooms, offices, and gallery space.
