BSA facilitated the relocation the Ostermann Sausage Company from Denver, CO to Delray Beach, FL. This fast track project encompassed the conversion of an existing bowling alley to a 15,000 sf refrigerated meat processing plant which included 11,000 sf of refrigerated processing and cook rooms. Before construction, BSA travelled to the owner’s existing facility in Denver to document electrical and mechanical requirements of the equipment scheduled to be relocated to the new facility. BSA then worked with the design consultants to ensure all contract documents were coordinated to avoid costly delays during the start-up period. During construction, BSA managed the transfer, storage, and installation of all equipment, and worked with the owner to minimize down time during the move. Because of the nature of the business the project was designed and built to conform to strict USDA specifications.
